Yuzzy wins the grand prize, an original oil painting worth $2,300, which will be painted by Linda Budge especially for Suzanne Miller, owner of Yuzzy, a Maltese/Poodle/Havanese mix. She is the author of "Yuzzy Strikes Again," the wnining short story.
The month-long event is sponsored by the Linda Budge Studio and raised $2,000 for animal charities.
